On the team’s performance…
“We showed a lot of growth off of the previous four games. We did not execute down the back stretch in the last half of the second half offensively. We allowed them too much leeway offensively as well, so they had a couple of offensive rebounds on their end. We just didn’t execute the little things that we did the first 32 minutes of the game.”

On talking to the team after the game…
“Well number one, we’re halfway through conference, and anything’s possible. Number two, no one feels good, but they do need to see the growth for what it is, and I think that’s important for our group right now because this whole season is a process. There’s a lot to build off of off tonight, and as long as we move in the right direction, that’s the most important thing.”

On key players of the game…
“I thought all of our guys stood out today. I’m proud of them.”

On improvements from Thursday’s game to today’s game…
“A lot of improvements. Offensively, we were moving the basketball, sharing it. We played closer to our roles, and I thought there was better communication on the floor.”
