James Leach is entering his second season as a member of the Western Oregon baseball coaching staff in 2019. Leach will work primarily with the WOU catchers.
Prior to coaching, Leach played one year of baseball at Linn Benton Community College before transferring to WOU, where he played catcher for four years. He took part in earning two Great Northwest Athletic Conference titles. Leach hit .395 as a senior for the Wolves.
Leach obtained his undergraduate degree in exercise science from Western Oregon University in 2017 and will be starting his master’s degree in information technology in the spring of 2018.
