Darrien Moran enters his second year as a member of the Western Oregon coaching staff. Moran was promoted to pitching coach prior to his second season with the Wolves in 2018.
Prior to coaching, Darrien spent his final two years of college playing for the Wolves after transferring from Pierce Community College. Moran earned all Great Northwest Athletic Conference honors with the Wolves along with one GNAC title.Â
In the spring of 2017, Darrien earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in entrepreneurship. Moran led WOU with 86 innings of work on the mound in 2016.  Moran struck out 63 batters that season and finished the year with a 3.35 earned run average.
