Biography

Kinman arrives at WOU after spending the previous seasons playing at Lewis-Clark State, Scottsdale CC and Umpqua CC. During this past season at Umpqua he hit .333 and held a perfect fielding percentage. Kinman played in 14 games at Scottsdale driving in three runs. During his high school career at Tualatin he was a four-year letterwinner and a captain his senior year. During his junior season he was named Second Team All-League, to the 2017 Sunshine West Top Prospect Team and ranked fifth in the U.S. for pop times by Perfect Game. During his senior season he earned Second Team All-League after moving to the No. 2 catcher in the state of Oregon by Perfect Game. He was ranked as the fourth overall player in Oregon by Perfect Game, ranked as the 158th catcher by Perfect Game and was a top-500 overall player in the U.S. by Perfect Game. He finished the season as the No. 11 statistical leader in the state of Oregon for RBI with 22 and No.14 in hits with 34. Kinman also played football earning a letter his senior year, as well as serving as a captain. He played along the defensive line, was a linebacker and on special teams.
