Made 12 appearances including two starts... went 3-0 with a 3.29 ERA... threw a season-high 4.1 innings of shutout ball March 30 against Saint Martin's, striking out five... struck out 30 in 27.1 innings.Â
AS A FRESHMAN (2018)
GNAC Freshman of the Year… All-GNAC Honorable Mention… Finished with a 5-0 record to tie for third in the GNAC in total wins… Closed out the year with a 1.12 earned-run average in 24 innings of work over 14 appearances… Held his opponents scoreless in 11 of his 14 appearances… Did not allow a run in his first five appearances of the year and again over his final five appearances of the season... Gave up 17 hits and six walks over 24 innings for a 0.958 WHIP… Allowed just three runs all season and never more than one in a game… Seven of his 14 appearances were at least two-inning stints… Tossed a season-best 3 1/3 innings against Central Washington on April 29 and allowed just one hit against the Wildcats… Struck out four batters in six outs at home against Saint Martin’s on April 22.
