AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Appeared in 13 games while making eight starts for the Wolves… Made six starts in left field and two as the team’s designated hitter… Hit .185 on the season with five hits, two RBI and three runs scored… Went 2-for-5 at Azusa Pacific on Feb. 9… Drove in two RBI against Saint Martin’s on April 22… Was 1-for-1 in stolen base chances. AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Made 17 starts left fields in 24 appearances with the Wolves… Had 23 hits in 63 at bats for a .365 batting average… Improved to .421 (8-of-19) against lefties… Was 1-for-2 with the bases loaded and 9-of-17 (.529) to lead off an inning… Had three multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5 day against MSU Billings (April 14)… Drove in three runs against MSUB earlier in the season (March 6)… Belted six doubles and one triple… Drove in 12 runs and scored on 18 occasions… Went 3-for-4 in stolen base chances…Did not record an error in the field on 26 chances during the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Bishop Amat in 2016… Was the San Gabriel Valley Player of the Year, First Team All-CIF, first team all-league as a senior… Helped the Lancers to back-to-back Pac 5 titles in baseball and football.
PERSONAL: Born May 1… Son of Tisha James and Torreahno… Family includes siblings, Tyler, Terayon and Kennedy… Father okayed baseball for Tennessee and Alabama Birmingham and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals… Majoring in criminal justice… Goal is to play in the MLB.
