Biography

Kling played for Dos Pueblos High School and is a native of Santa Barbara, Calif. The 5-foot-8 center back/midfielder spent all four of her seasons playing varsity and was named Honorable Mention All-League as a Sophomore and First Team All-Channel League her Junior and Senior seasons. Kling was part of a Dos Pueblos team that went 12-6-6 during the 2018-19 season and won the first Girls Soccer Channel League Championship in school history. The following season, 2019-20 Kling was named Team Captain and the Chargers repeated as Channel League champs. Upon the conclusion of the season, Emilia was named Channel League Defensive MVP as well as Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Girls Soccer Athlete of the Year for 2020. She also was a class officer throughout high school and played for Eagles O2 ECNL club soccer team.
