Biography
Daos arrives at WOU after spending the past two seasons competing at Spokane CC. The distance runner participated in cross country, as well as running the 1,500, 5,000 and 3,000-steeplechase. Daos helped lead his team to a pair of dominating NWAC Cross Country titles in 2018 and 2019 posting fourth-place individual finishes each time. Opened his collegiate track career running in the 5k at the 2019 Buc Scoring Meet with a time of 15:34.36. Later that year he came in fifth at the CWU Wildcat Invitational in the 1,500 with a time of 4:16.33. During the NWAC Championships in 2019, he won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:44.02 and then placed third in the 5,000. Daos put together a strong cross country season in the fall of 2019, coming in fourth to start the year at Puget Sound and after a pair of top-20 finishes, ended the year with his fourth-place result in the conference meet.
