AS A SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
Outdoor: Ran mid-distance events for the Wolves in eight meets…Season-best time of 1:54.40 in the 800m came at the Oregon Twilight…Ran a 3:56.81 in the 1500m at the John Knight Twilight to post a season-low in the event…Won the 800m at the Charles Bowles Classic (1:56.08) and the 1500m at the John Knight Twilight…Also won section four of the 1500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational (3:59.69). Indoor: Ran the 800m at the UW Winter Preview and the GNAC Indoor Championships...Placed third at the GNAC Indoor Championships with a season-best time of 1:59.21. Cross Country: Ran in the first five races of the season…Posted a season-best finish in the first race of the year, placing 12th with a time of 25:45.0 at the WOU Summer End Invite…Also recorded a top 20 finish at the Pacific Lutheran Invite (20th)…Finished 36th at the GNAC Championships…Was the Wolves' second finisher at the WOU Summer End Invite…Earned alternate scores for Western Oregon at the Pier Park Invite, the Grass Course Meet and the Pacific Lutheran Invite.
AS A FRESHMAN (2007)
Ran in three races, the West Coast Preview, the Saint Martin's Invite and the GNAC championships for the Wolves…Best finish came at the Saint Martin's Invite as he placed 11th with a 26:59…Placed 42nd at the conference championships.
PRIOR TO WOU
Three-year letterwinner on the track at Lake Stevens…Four-year participant in cross country and was also a member of the swim and track team for two seasons…Third team All-Wesco League honoree in cross country…Had prep bests in cross country of 16:28 (5K) and ran 4:33 in the mile, 9:52 in the two mile.
PERSONAL
Born in Everett, Wash. in 1988…Spanish Communications major…Wants to be a Spanish teacher, a pastor and possibility a missionary…Parents are Greg and Carrie Larson of Lake Stevens…Kyle has an older brother (Chad) and younger twin brothers in Drew and Scott.
