A 2009 graduate of Philomath High School…Lettered three years in cross country and four years in track & field…Won the 400m at state as a senior…His 4x100m relay team placed second at state…Earned first team all-state honors in the 400m and the 4x100m relay…Named to the all-league first team in cross country as a junior and senior…All-league in the 400m as a senior…Three-time second team selection in the 800m.

Born in Albany, Ore….Communications major…Parents are Michael and Sharlene…Has three younger siblings; Bryan (5), Mitchell (12) and Haley (15)…Michael played baseball at Oregon State.
