Amanda Evola begins her first year as an assistant softball coach at Western Oregon. She helps with the organization and fluency of practices, and she also trains the outfielders.
Evola previously played four years as an outfielder for the Western Oregon softball program (2012-2015). She earned NFCA NCAA Division II West Region honors for three consecutive years and was a four-time All-GNAC Outfield First Team selection. Evola ranks as the program's all-time leader in two offensive categories, including batting average and runs batted in. She is also second among all players in program history in five other offensive categories (at-bats, runs scored, hits, doubles, and home runs).
A Beaverton, Oregon native, Evola will graduate from Western Oregon in 2016.Â
