Anthony Marin begins his second season as an assistant coach for the WOU track & field program in 2025-26 - coaching the hammer and indoor weight throw.

Marin is a Western Oregon alum who remains the WOU record holder in the weight throw (61-9”) from 2007. Anthony is also fifth all-time at Western Oregon in the hammer as well. Anthony is originally from Salem, Oregon, where he went to McKay High School. At McKay, Anthony was First Team All-Valley League in all three sports as a senior (Football, Wrestling and Track).
