Brady Beagley enters his third year as an assistant coach for the Western Oregon cross country and track & field programs. In track, he primarily works with the distance runners, and he also provides support with recruiting and travel matters.
In his first three years assisting head coach Mike Johnson, Beagley has helped coach and workout multiple All-American athletes; Ribich, Nading, Dempsey, Woods, Van De Grift, Holmberg, Naffziger. Most recently Beagley was amongst the coaching staff that led the Wolves to a Distance Medley Relay National Champion and record performance.Â
June of 2017, Beagley accompanied David Ribich in Sacramento for the USATF National Championships, Under Beagley, Ribich went on to finish 9th in the 1500m Final.
Prior to coaching, Beagley competed as a Western Oregon cross country and track & field athlete. He has competed at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships (2015), NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships (2014), and the NCAA Division II West Region Cross Country Championships (2012 and 2013).
As a WOU Athlete he won the mile at the 2015 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, setting a new conference meet record. That same year, Beagley finished 10th at the Indoor Track and Field Championships earning second-team All-American honors. Beagley consistently placed in the top 10 in the 3000m steeplechase at the GNAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and in 2013, he claimed the title. Also in 2013, he was named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Region team. In 2011 he raced with the Western Oregon national qualifying team in Cross Country.
Beagley’s career placed him in the WOU men’s outdoor all-time top 10 in three different events: 1500m, 5000m, and 3000m steeplechase. In the WOU men’s indoor all-time list, he ranks fourth in the mile and third in the 3000m.

A native of Grants Pass, Oregon, Beagley graduated from WOU in 2015 with a major in exercise science and a minor in biology.Â
