Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20)
Wright saw time right away for the Wolves as a true freshman in 2019-20 that included 26 games played and a start. She tallied 81 points, 33 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a steal. Wright shot over 48 percent from the field making 33 field goals and connected on 15 free throws. She went for a season-high 11 points against Northwest Nazarene and had five or more points in a game on seven different occasions. Wright made two field goals in a game eight times, hitting a season-high four against Alaska Fairbanks and Northwest Nazarene. She grabbed five rebounds also against the Nighthawks, as she had 10 games with multiple rebounds.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wright comes to the Western Oregon program from Damonte Ranch High School in Reno, Nev. The 6'2" center was just over two rebounds shy of averaging a double-double with the Mustangs last season. Twice named to all-league and all-region teams, Wright scored 10.8 points per game on 51 percent field goal shooting her senior year, pulling in 7.6 rebounds and doling out three assists. Her brother, Thomas, plays on the WOU football team.
