AS A SENIOR (2021)
Bishop was named the NFCA National Player of the Week on Apr. 7 after posting a .636 batting average, three home runs, nine RBI, slugging 1.545, adding a .667 on-base percentage and a walk-off grand slam in four games against Northwest Nazarene. She becomes the first player in WOU program history to earn the national NFCA award.
AS A SENIOR (2020)
Bishop helped power the pitching staff during the 2020 season tossing in 10 games that included six starts in the circle. Bishop had the top ERA on the team at 3.80 and team-best WHIP (1.65). Overall she picked up four wins during the year, picked up a save and had three complete games in 42.1 innings pitched. Bishop posted 13 strikeouts and issued just nine walks. All three of her complete games she pitched seven innings that included a shutout during the final day of the season against MSU Billings. Bishop tossed another solid performance against Eastern Oregon going all seven innings and allowing just an earned run. In six of her outings she allowed one earned run or less and had multiple strikeouts in four games, going for a season-high three strikeouts against Eastern Oregon. At the plate, Bishop added eight hits, with a home runs, two doubles and 10 RBI. She hit a grand slam in the win over #2 Texas A&M-Kingsville and drove in five total runs against the Javelinas. Added a multi-hit game against West Texas A&M and had another multi-RBI game against Eastern Oregon.
AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Earned Academic All-GNAC honors...Saw action in 12 total games in the circle that included nine starts…Held a 3.73 ERA in 56.1 innings that included a 4-5 record, seven complete games and 14 strikeouts…Also added 13 hits at the plate with a double, three home runs, 12 RBI, eight runs scored and drew eight walks…Tossed her first complete game of the season against Tiffin (OH) going all seven innings and allowed just two earned runs with a strikeout and no walks…Collected first win of the season in the following start against Western Washington when she went all seven innings again and allowed two earned runs and had four strikeouts in the 5-2 victory…Added another seven inning complete game win against CSU Dominguez Hills and then pitched a pair of five inning complete game wins in conference play against Western Washington and Saint Martin’s…Allowed just an unearned run in the win over the Vikings…Had three multi-hit games at the plate and drove in five runs against Northwest Christian that included a pair of home runs…Added a three RBI game against Kentucky Wesleyan which included another home run.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Appeared in 39 games while making 33 starts… Made starts at first base, as a designated player and as a pitcher… Made 15 appearances and eight starts in the circle… Ended with a 2-7 pitching record and a 4.41 earned-run average… Hit .198 on the year with two doubles and three home runs… Drove in 10 and scored 10 runs… Had a pair of two-hit games and two more games with two RBI.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Appeared in 39 games with 31 starting assignments… Hit .315 on the season with nine runs and 19 RBI… Connected on five doubles and three home runs… Drew four walks and struck out on only four occasions in 89 at bats… Second on the team with three sacrifice
flys… Had four straight multi-hit games in the middle of the season, including a three-hit performance against Montana State Billings (March 19)… As a pitcher, appeared in 13 games with three complete games… Made six starts and finished with a 5.39 ERA… Struck out 11 batters in 49.1 innings.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduate from Arlington High School in 2016… Four-time letter winner at first base and pitcher…Named team MVP in final two seasons… Wesco North Pitcher of the Year in final campaign… Part of the 4A state championship team as a freshman where she hit .314 for the season.
