Bo Highburger

Bo Highburger recently completed a top career as a linebacker for the Wolves earning multiple accolades. He begins his first season on the staff as the assistant linebacker coach in 2019.

A first-team All-GNAC recipient for three straight seasons, along with earning Don Hansen Super Region honors after posting 326 tackles that included three seasons with over 100 tackles. He also added nearly 40 tackles (39.5) for loss, 10 sacks, an interception, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and a blocked kick while playing in 40 games for the Wolves.

During his recently completed senior year in 2018, Highburger posted 18 tackles against the triple option Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico and had five games with double-digit tackles. He posted four tackles for loss against Azusa Pacific and ended the season with 103 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. He added seasons of 111 tackles as a sophomore and 100 as a junior. Highburger tallied 13.5 tackles for loss as a sophomore and 10 as a junior. Of his total career tackles, 182 came solo.

The Veneta, Ore., native was a four-year letterwinner at Elmira High School along with earning first team All-State and was named the conference’s Player of the Year each of his final two seasons. He recently earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics.
