AS A JUNIOR (2008-09)
Outdoor: Best marks include a time of 5:27.28 in the WOU-Willamette Mini Meet and a time of 20.07.76 in the 5000m. Cross Country: Did not run a race for the Wolves during the 2008 season.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2007)
Cross Country: Participated in two of six races for the Wolves…Placed in the top 25 in both races…Finished ninth at the Summer End Invite (20:28) and 17th at the Saint Martin's Invite (20:10).
AS A FRESHMAN (2006)
Named the 2006 Marquis Spas Fall Athlete of the Year (XC)…Place second in the 5K at the indoor and outdoor GNAC championship meets in 2007...Won the 10k meters at the GNAC Championship…Also a member of the SAAC…In cross country, placed first for the Wolves at St. Martin’s (15th), Pac. Lutheran (sixth), and the GNAC conference finals (21st)…Also finished second for WOU at Pac. U (16th) and at the NCAA Division II west regional (37th)…Ran WOU’s best time on the track in 2007 in the 5K (18:24.0) and the 10K (38:51.17).
PRIOR TO WOU
A 2005 graduate of Kenai Central High School in Kenai, Alaska…Four-year letterwinner in track and field and ran three seasons in cross country...Was the Region III runner-up in 2005...Won a state sportsmanship award in 2003...Had a 5K prep best in cross country of 19:48.
PERSONAL
Born in Soldotna, Alaska...Public Health major, Mathematics minor... Parents are David and Joan Rowley of Kenai... Alee has one younger sister, Molly (14).
