Biography
(WOU, Fall 2021): Caitlin Heldt ran a strong first cross country season for the Wolves in the fall of 2021. She opened her WOU career coming in second at the Ash Creek Collegiate and then running again at Ash Creek Preserve, Heldt came in 11th during the Mike Johnson Classic. During the competitive Lewis Crossover, heldt came in 27th. She just missed earning All-GNAC honors at the GNAC Championships when Heldt placed 12th. Heldt claimed All-West Region honors when she crossed in 23rd at the NCAA Division II West Regional. Some of her top times on the season include 14:08.7 in the 4K and then a time of 22:08.4 in the 6K at the West Regionals.
2021 Outdoor Season: Caitlin Heldt is the current school record holder in the outdoor 5,000 with a time of 17:08.22 in which she set during the Oregon State High Performance Meet on Apr. 30
Caitlin Heldt competed at both Northern Arizona University and Maricopa CC before arriving at Western Oregon University.

High School: Took home several accolades during her prep career at Savannah Christian High School in Savannah, Ga. Heldt earned All-Region and All-League in cross country both her freshman and sophomore seasons. Landed on the All-Area list in cross country her junior year and was All-Area in track as a senior. Heldt was a state qualifier in track in the 800m and 3,200m. She was named the All-Greater Savannah cross country and track Best of Preps. In addition to reaching state in track, Heldt was a state qualifier in cross country all four years and earned a varsity letter all four years in both sports. She earned the Most Inspirational Award in cross country as a sophomore and left the school holding school records in the 4x400 relay, 800m, 1,600m, 3,200m and competed in the Foot Locker Invitational Cross Country South Regional.
