Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2007)

GNAC Honorable Mention, GNAC All-Academic…Only one of two returning Wolves to start in all 20 season games… Scored two goals (third for Western), had one assist (second), and earned  five points (second)…Made 10 shots with  .200 shot % (second)…Had five SOG with a .500 SOG%.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2006)

GNAC Honorable Mention as a sophomore…Saw action in 16 matches for the Wolves, starting in 15…Totaled 29 shots on the season with an assist during a 2-1 win over Northwest Nazerene last October…Had four goals, one aiding WOU to a 2-1 over Southern Oregon…Tied for WOU’s team lead in scoring, despite playing the defender position…Scored all of her points (four goals, one assist) in the final seven matches of the season.

 

AS A FRESHMAN (2005)

Played in 14 matches for the Wolves as a true freshman, starting in 12...Had 12 shots, and tallied an assist during a 3-2 win over Western Washington.

 

PRIOR TO WOU
2005 graduate of Columbia River High School… Named first team All-Greater St. Helen’s League all four years of high school… Also an all-region team member as a sophomore, junior, and senior… Played basketball and ran track, too, and was a second-team all-league point guard on the hardwood.

PERSONAL
Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1986… Communication Studies major, Sports Leadership minor … Plans to become an events planner...Parents are Patrick and Patricia Kuzmer of Vancouver…Maggie has two older sisters, Lisa Dean and Kristin Lapinskas.
