Kacey Bingham begins her seventh season as head coach for the Western Oregon women's soccer program in 2025.
Since taking over the Wolves, Bingham has taken the Wolves to the GNAC postseason three times and has developed a reputation for strong play against tough competition as WOU is 3-3-3 against ranked opponents since she took over in 2019 - including riding a current six-match undefeated streak against ranked foes after drawing 1-1 against No. 6 UCCS in 2024.
Bingham earned GNAC Coach of the Year honors in her first season at WOU in 2019 after guiding the Wolves to their first double-figure win season since 2002.
Bingham guided the Wolves to their first national ranking in 2022 at No. 8 in the country - ranked for two weeks that season as well as for two weeks in 2023. She is also the WOU all-time leader in winning percentage all-time and in conference play. Overall she's 37-40-25 at WOU, including 26-23-19 in conference play.Â
Bingham's also made Monmouth a tough place to play as she's 23-13-12 at home since her first year in 2019.
Bingham's players have earned a total of 10 all-region and 30 all-conference honors - including two first-team all-region and seven first-team all-conference honors. WOU players earned two major conference awards under Bingham - Hannah Rispler was named the 2022 GNAC Defensive Player of the Year and Danielle VanOrd was named the 2019 GNAC Newcomer of the Year.
WOU has also taken care of business in the classroom under Bingham with the Wolves earning 77 All-GNAC Academic honors along with Selene Konyn earning Third Team CSC Academic All-America honors in 2019.
Bingham has coached at the collegiate level for the past 20Â years, serving as a head coach for 17 of those. Her career head coaching record stands at 256-93-38 (.711).
Bingham came to WOU in 2019 after serving as an assistant coach, recruiting coordinator and camps director at Division I Saint Mary’s College of California in 2018.
Previously, she was the head coach at Dixie State (now Utah Tech) for five seasons. Bingham helped produce UTU's first two All-Americans in 2017 during a record-breaking season. The Trailblazers ranked as high as 8th in the NCAA West Region while setting single-season records in goals (19), game-winning goals (8) and hat tricks (3).
From 2006-2012, Bingham served as the head coach at Paradise Valley Community College. While coaching the Pumas, she led PVCC to the 2010 and 2012 NJCAA National Championships and an undefeated 46-0-2 record over those two years. Bingham was named NJCAA and ACCAC Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2012. She compiled a 121-13-8 overall record while head coach of the Pumas.
Bingham played during the 2002 and 2003 seasons at Arizona State University. She holds a USSF B License and also was part of the Saguaro women's semi-pro team in 2003 and Heatwave women's semi-pro team in 2002.
