Madison McClung, a freshman sprinter from Cottage Grove, Ore. (Cottage Grove High School), broke Western Oregon's record in the 60m dash with a time of 7.84. Her time shattered the 12-year school record of 7.87 which was established in 1998 by Rachael Morris. McClung also registered a time of 26.20 in the 200m dash to move into fifth place in school history.
