Nobles allowed just one earned run in eight innings in Sunday's extra-inning game. He gave up seven hits, while walking two and striking out four. Over his last two starts Nobles has held opponents to 11 hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out nine in 14 innings pitched. He also lowered his ERA nearly a run and a half in the process.
