Amanda Schumaker, a sophomore from Gladstone, Ore. (Gladstone HS), recorded a throw of 137-10 (42.01m) on her final attempt of the javelin toss to move from ninth to eighth place. This was the second straight season the sophomore from has earned All-American honors in the javelin after she took sixth place at Nationals last year.
