Madison McClung, a sophomore sprinter from Cottage Grove, Ore. (Cottage Grove HS), rewrote the Western Oregon record books in the sprints. First she secured her spot atop the Wolves all-time top 10 list in the 60m dash by shaving .03 seconds off her career-best time. She would match that same time in the finals to take second place at the meet. McClung would then take first place and earn an NCAA provisional qualifying standard in the 200m with a time of 25.16. That mark shattered the previous school record by .43 seconds.
