A four-time NCAA DII national champion, WOU graduate David Ribich was named the GNAC Athlete of the Year in 2017 and 2018. In addition to breaking 4 minutes (3:58.88) in the mile, Ribich set all-time NCAA DII national record in the indoor 1,000 (2:21.38), indoor 3,000 (7:50.81) and the outdoor 1,500 (3:37.35).
