Melissa Fowler, a 5-10 freshman forward from Canby, Ore. (Canby High School), posted her first career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 96-64 win over Simpson University. Fowler hit all 11 of her free throw shots and also went 3-of-8 from the field to record her career-high 17 points. Four of Fowler's 10 rebounds came off Western Oregon missed shots. He also added one block, one steal and two assists. This was her first career game with double-figure points or rebounds.
