Sarah Kathrein set the Western Oregon school-record in the 200m dash with a time of 25.97 to highlight the Western Oregon University track & field team's performances Saturday (Feb. 13), at the Husky Classic.
Ashley Potter matched her school-record leap of 37-11.5 (11.57m) in the women's triple jump to maintain her second place mark in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
Matson Hardie posted a season-best mark in the triple jump, as he leaped a distance of 47-1.75 (14.37m) to extend his GNAC lead in the event to over a foot.
Kyle Larson moved to seventh place on the GNAC performance list in the men's mile with a time of 4:20.71.
Michael Brown also ascended the GNAC performance list as he posted a time of 1:57.86 in the 800m to move into fourth in the conference.
The Western Oregon track & field team will be back in action tomorrow as numerous members of the team compete in the UW Open.
