OFFENSIVELY
The Wolves have been hot and cold the past two weekends. They connected on a total of 49 of their 116 shots against both Simon Fraser and Alaska Fairbanks, good for 42.2 percent. Against Western Washington, WOU hit 36.8 percent of their three-point tries. Western grabbed 14 offensive rebounds against Alaska Anchorage, a team notorious for limiting second chances.

DEFENSIVELY
Western has played extremely well defensively of late, holding Western Washington's potent offense to a season-low 59 points. Against Alaska Fairbanks, the Wolves forced 34 turnovers and recorded 14 steals. UAF shot just 33.3 percent against WOU and scored a season-low 39 points. Western's three-point percentage defense continues to be stingy; its last three opponents have failed to shoot better than 28 percent from long range.

GNAC TOURNAMENT UPDATE
This season will conclude with the inagaural GNAC Tournament, a postseason tournament featuring the top eight teams in the final conference standings. The top four teams will host the bottom four teams in the first round. The second and final rounds will be played at the higher seed's home site. The winner of the tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

If the tournament started today, the Wolves would face Montana State Billings as the sixth seed. MSUB currently hold the tie-breaker over SPU, who is also in third.
