MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Western Oregon women's basketball team returns to action this week as the Wolves travel to Lacey, Wash., to face Saint Martin's in a conference contest on Saturday, January 14, at 7:00 p.m.

The Wolves enter the contest with a mark of 2-4 in conference play, 3-13 overall, after Western Oregon dropped a pair of games to Simon Fraser and Western Washington last week.

Rylee Peterson continues to lead the Wolves, as the senior led all scorers with 26 points in a near-upset of the Vikings. Through 16 games, Peterson leads the team and ranks third in the league in scoring at 16.3 points per game.

Senior guard Jade Haas is also in double figures for WOU, averaging 10.5 points per game while Melissa Fowler ranks third on the squad, averaging just under double figures at 9.1 points per contest.

Saint Martin's also enters the week with a 2-4 league mark as the Saints are 7-9 overall after falling to Western Washington before rebounding with a victory over Simon Fraser last week.  Chelsea Haskey leads a pair of Saint Martin's players in double figures, averaging 13.3 points per game.

The Saints lead the all-time series, 26-12; however, the two teams split the season series last year.

Following the game against the Saints, Western Oregon will remain on the road as the Wolves will travel to Anchorage, Alaska, to face Alaska Anchorage on Thursday, January 19, at 8:00 p.m.
