MONMOUTH, Ore. -- The Western Oregon University women's basketball team begins the second half of Great Northwest Athletic Conference Saturday when it welcomes its travel partner, Saint Martin's University (Wash.).

LAST TIME OUT
• Montana State Billings pulled away from Western Oregon, 79-57, last Saturday, to close the first half of GNAC play.
• The Yellowjackets improved to 9-0 at home this season by winning their fourth straight game.
• MSU Billings had a 42-23 rebound advantage, and turned 18 offensive rebounds into 19 points.
• Western Oregon had one lead in the game, 5-4, four minutes into the contest.
• Dana Goularte led the Wolves with 21 points.

WESTERN OREGON STORYLINES
• In the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, Dana Goularte is currently third in blocks per game (1.9), second in field goal percentage (51.2), third in rebounds (8.6), and her 18.4 points per outing is third.
• The junior reached 20 points for the seventh and eighth time in her career last week.
• Western Oregon is 5-0 when it finishes with a better shooting percentage than its opponent, but 0-12 when the opponent has a better field goal percentage.
• The Wolves are 2-11 this season when their opponents score at least 60 points in a game.

ABOUT THE SAINTS
• After winning eight of nine, Saint Martin's comes to Monmouth on a three-game losing streak.
• SMU is 7-1 at home, but 4-6 away from Lacey.
• Saint Martin's has arguable the best defense in the conference, holding opponents to 61.6 points per game at a 35 percent from the field rate. Both of those stats lead the GNAC.
• SMU's free throw percentage (73.4) and turnover margin (3.39) are both third in the conference.
• Chelsea Haskey averages 13.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per outing.

SERIES HISTORY
• Saint Martin's has a 29-14 lead in the all-time series.
• The Wolves won the first meeting, 75-64, in Monmouth in 1983.
• SMU swept the season series last season by a combined 12 points.
• The Saints have won three straight in the series.
