Box Score ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University volleyball team continued their winning ways against Western Oregon University, sweeping them in three sets Thursday, 15-25, 20-25 and 22-25.
 
The Wildcats (13-5, 6-4 Great Northwest Athletic Conference) won their third straight match, sweeping all three opponents over the streak. They sit in fifth place in the conference.
 
CWU out attacked the Wolves, finishing with an attack percentage of .275 to WOU's .200. Kiah Jones led the Wildcats with 15 kills on 28 chances, ending with an attack percentage of .393. Linden Firethorne added 12 kills. Catie Fry led all players with 37 assists on the match. Kaely Kight had 12 digs, Jordan Deming added 10 digs and Lindsey Milner finished with 9.
 
The Wolves (2-16, 0-10 GNAC) dropped their tenth straight match. Samantha Moore and Cherene O'Hara paced Western with seven kills apiece. Moore had a team high .455 attack percentage with O'Hara following close behind at .429. Moore also added five block assists, leading all players. Jordin Ramos ended with 15 assists and six digs. Kiana Cash had 12 assists. Jaryn Ramos led the team with eight digs.
 
Central Washington led WOU with 49 kills to the Wolves' 33. The Wildcats also won the assists battle 44-32, and in digs 39-33.  Western finished with nine blocks. CWU ended with four. The match featured 11 ties scores and three lead changes.
 
The Wolves next travel to Nampa, Idaho for a match against the current GNAC leaders, Northwest Nazarene University Saturday. Game time is set for 7 p.m. MT. Live video and stats will be available on WOUWolves.com.
