NAMPA, Idaho – The Northwest Nazarene University women's basketball team completed its season with a 74-57 victory over Western Oregon University Saturday.

Four Crusaders (15-11, 8-10 Great Northwest Athletic Conference) finished in double-digit scoring. Megan Hingston and Chelsie Luke both had 19-point performances. Hingston made 7-of-14 from the field, while Luke made three of her six attempts from behind-the-arc. Taylor Simmons added 13 points and Kylee Schierman had 10. Leslie Warwick dished out five assists, Schierman grabbed a game-high nine rebounds and Simmons made five steals.

Northwest Nazarene made 44 percent of its shots from the field and held WOU to 37 percent. Both teams shot well from the free throw line. NNU finished 21-of-26 and the Wolves were 20-for-25. The Crusaders had a slim 32-31 advantage in rebounds. Western Oregon committed 23 turnovers in the loss, while NNU had 15.

The game featured with four lead changes and one tie. WOU's largest lead was three points late in the first half, but Northwest Nazarene had a 29-22 lead at halftime. The Crusaders' largest advantage was 20 points, eight minutes into the second half.

Senior Chantel Divilbiss completed her Western Oregon career with a team-high 14 points. She made four of her five three-point attempts. Jordan Mottershaw and Dana Goularte both scored 11. Goularte had four assists and Elise Miller made four steals. The Wolves (6-20, 3-15 GNAC) finished their season as well.
