THE FIRST SERVE* Western Oregon has split its last 10 season-opening matches, and is 4-2 in openers under
Brad Saindon.
* The Wolves ended their 2013 season with three consecutive setbacks.
* WOU has won 28 of its last 40 matches inside the New P.E. Building.
* The Wolves welcome back three starters from their final match in 2013, and eight letterwinners from last season.
* Western Oregon has eight student-athletes from Oregon, four from Hawaii, and five from Washington.
* Thirteen of the 17 Wolves on the 2014 roster are underclassmen.
* The Wolves' schedule features 26 matches, with only nine being played in Monmouth.
* All nine of WOU's home contests are against Great Northwest Athletic Conference opponents.
* Of the GNAC opponents, Saindon has won all 12 of his meetings against Simon Fraser, but is 2-10 against Western Washington.
* Saindon has the sixth best conference win percentage among current GNAC coaches. His 70 conference wins are seventh all-time in GNAC history.

Jordin Ramos is creeping closer to the WOU all-time top 10 list for assists in a career. The senior has 1,015 assists in her 222 matches at Western Oregon.
