Christie Colasurdo recorded a match-high 21 digs, but the Wolves' volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback against No. 15 Western Washington at Whatcom Pavilion.

The host Vikings blasted out of the gates for a 13-5 lead before WOU went on a late 13-4 run to close within a point at 20-19. WWU claimed the set with five consecutive points ending with two kills and a block.

Western Oregon pushed to a 4-2 lead early in the first set after an ace from
Mariella Vandenkooy and a kill by
Amanda Short. It remained a close set until WOU went up 15-12. Almost immediate, the momentum swung to the Vikings after they reeled off six unanswered points to take a 18-15 advantage. WOU tried to stay within striking distance, but a pair of errors closed the game at 25-19 in favor of the host Vikings.

Game three consisted of multiple point strings. WWU used attack errors from the Wolves to take a 14-12 lead and then went on a kill streak for a 21-15 advantage. Western Oregon closed within 23-20, but WWU closed out the GNAC sweep with two big swings.

The Wolves were held to .167 of offense while the Vikings hit .269 as a team.
Maddie Mehciz handed out 28 assists for WOU.
