STORYLINES
- The Western Oregon women's basketball team travels to the land of the redwoods for its non-conference finale against Humboldt State on Saturday, Dec. 19. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
- WOU seeks its first road victory of the season and first win against HSU in Arcata since the 2003-04 season.
- This game will be the third game of the year played in the Golden State. WOU played in the CSUEB Conference Challenge on Nov. 13-14, dropping a pair of game to the host Pioneers and Cal State Monterey Bay.
- The Wolves and Lumberjacks meet for the 33rd time on Saturday. WOU has an 18-14 advantage in the series, but Humboldt State has won the last two meetings including a 70-60 win last November in Monmouth.

ABOUT WESTERN OREGON
- Freshman Natalie DeLonge and junior Jordan Mottershaw were both in double figures during last Saturday's 78-55 loss at home to No. 5 California Baptist. DeLonge connected on six field goals for 14 points and added eight rebounds off the bench. Mottershaw had 13 points and three rebounds in 28 minutes.
- Mottershaw ranks eighth in the league with a .409 three-point field goal percentage while Sydney Azorr is 10th with a .394 percentage.
- Jasmine Miller sits 19th in the GNAC in rebounding with a 5.1 average per game.
- The Wolves' 204 free throw attempts rank 62nd in the nation in free throw attempts, while their 133 makes are also 82nd.
- Head coach Holli Howard-Carpenter is in her third year at Western Oregon.
- Western Oregon was picked to finish 10th in the GNAC regular season title by the league's coaches after finishing ninth in the league with a 5-13 conference record in 2014-15.

ABOUT HUMBOLDT STATE
- Humboldt State has won four of its last five games to hit the .500-mark with a 5-5 overall record.
- Last week, the Jacks won a pair of CCAA league games at home: 65-57 over Sonoma State and 60-52 over San Francisco State.
- Kiana Brown topped the scoring list in both games, scoring 12 against SSU and then hit all 12 foul shots she attempted to score 20 points against SF State.
- Brown and Amanda Kunst each average 14.2 points per game for HSU (8th best in the CCAA). Kunst is also the rebounding leader at 7.6 boards a game.
- As a team, Humboldt State is fourth in the CCAA averaging 66.4 points per game and 11th in scoring defense, allowing their opponents an average of 67.2 points.
- Joddie Gleason is in her 12th year as head coach at HSU. She has taken the Jacks to the NCAA Tournament four times, including last year with a 23-6 overall record.
