Coach QuotesWOU head coach
Holli Howard-Carpenter after the loss:
- "We had a great defensive effort tonight, holding them 12 under their average, but in order to win games, we have to play both sides of the ball. We allowed Central's physicality to bother us and never really found an offensive rhythm. We were just too easy to guard tonight. We didn't counter when we were cut off nor did we set up and read screens. This is something we've been working on in practice, and I'm disappointed it didn't translate to the game tonight."
- "Everyone on our roster can score, but we have to work to get our teammates good shots by doing all the things. We also need more production coming off our bench, especially on nights when we are struggling to find the hoop."
