Jordan Wiley added 16 points and seven rebounds as No. 14/6 Western Oregon bear Saint Martin's 74-61 on Saturday night for its third straight victory.

Alex Roth had 10 points, including a pair of triples, for the Wolves (12-1, 5-1 Great Northwest Athletic Conference), who have not dropped a decision at home this season.

Brandon Kenilvort scored 13 off the bench for Saint Martin's (7-7, 1-5 GNAC), which has dropped four straight. Rhett Baerlocher had 12 points and nine rebounds.

Western Oregon, which made seven 3-pointers in the opening half, led by as many as 13 points before taking a 35-30 lead into the halftime break. The Wolves shot 46.4 percent (13 of 28) from the field while holding the Saints to 33 percent (11 of 33).

SMU sliced the lead down to three points, but WOU responded with an 8-0 run including 3-pointers from Avgi and Wiley. Western Oregon broke open the game to build a 64-44 lead at the 6:42 mark.

Western Oregon finished the night hitting 25 of 58 shots (43.1 percent), including 12 shots from behind the arc. The Wolves won a tough battle on the boards, 36-34, and protected the ball with only five turnovers.

The Wolves play twice on the road next week, beginning with a Thursday night game at Simon Fraser. Tip time on Jan. 14 is set for 7 p.m.
