Coach QuotesWOU head coach
Holli Howard-Carpenter after the loss:
- "I thought we did a good job valuing the basketball and running our sets, but we hit a drought in the second quarter that really hurt us. And to counter that, Central Washington got hot, and we had trouble stopping their run."
- "As always, we fought back in the third and were able to get it to single digits to go into the fourth. I believe we cut the lead to four at one point, but Central Washington hit some huge threes that killed our momentum."
- "We didn't get on the offensive glass tonight, nor did we knock down our free throws, and we need to commit to doing that in order to be more productive on offense."
- "Ali had a great defensive game tonight and really locked down their post players. Kaylie played aggressive and gave us a lot of energy."
