How It Happened
With Senior Day and their last home game on the line, Western Oregon started off the game with a winning mentality and held the lead for the majority of the first quarter. It all started with a layup from Launia Davis and a three-pointer from Sydney Azorr.

In the beginning of the second quarter, the Wolves kept the energy up, and Kaylie Boschma had a huge block to help the home team out. However, Seattle Pacific took over the lead four minutes into the period and quickly generated a 10-point advantage. Western Oregon stayed close behind as Emily Howey knocked down a layup and got the foul for an extra point to end the half at 29-21.

After losing some rhythm in the second period, Western Oregon caught their second wind in the second half as Davis hit a three-pointer to start the Wolves off. Azorr and Howey both worked together for the other nine points in the quarter.

Five minutes into the fourth quarter, only one basket had been scored, and it belonged to Seattle Pacific. The Wolves' first bucket of the period came from Azorr with less than three minutes in the game. By then, the Falcons had produced a 13-point lead over Western Oregon, and Seattle Pacific walked away with the victory.
