How It HappenedThe Wolves and the Falcons went to overtime again. The script played nearly opposite of the first meeting on Jan. 7 in Monmouth, but one thing remained the same: Western Oregon won the game.
Behind 29 points from senior forward
Andy Avgi, the No. 3/2 Wolves came back from a 14-point halftime deficit to defeat No. 19/21 Seattle Pacific, 84-82, at Brougham Pavilion. The victory was the 11

After trailing from the 10:58 mark of the first half, Avgi's banked 3-point basket with 43 seconds forced overtime despite two good looks from the Falcons and a miss at the buzzer by
Devon Alexander.
The Wolves took the lead at 3:33 of the extra session on a
Jordan Wiley connection from deep. SPU had a last chance at the horn, but freshman Gabe Colosimo's effort for three missed at the horn.

Seattle Pacific found their groove from outside and hit a pair of deep shots late in the first half to take a 49-35 advantage into half. SPU shot a white-hot 63 percent (17-of-27) in the first 20 minutes while the Wolves hit 12-of-25 (48 percent).
Western Oregon spent the entire second half chipping away at the SPU lead.
