Coach QuotesWOU head coach
Holli Howard-Carpenter after the loss:
- "Anchorage is a tough matchup for just about everyone, but I thought we did a much better job with their press this time around and were more confident with the ball. We let them bother and speed us up in the first half, and we didn't get many good looks at the basket. We moved the ball much better in the second half and were able to knock down some open shots."
- "I was proud of our defensive effort tonight. We had tough matchups but held people under their averages for the most part. We met shooters on the catch and did a good job of limiting their wide open looks."
