STORYLINES- Western Oregon begins a four-game road swing on Tuesday when they head to Portland to face Concordia. On Thursday, the Wolves will be in Montana to take on MSU Billings in a game that will be televised on ROOT Sports NW.
- Tuesday's game at Concordia will tip at 7 p.m. Pacific time and the Thursday contest at MSUB is set for a 7:10 p.m. MT (6:10 p.m. Pacific). WOU will host a watch party and pre-game bash in the Deschutes Lounge of the Warner Center on Thursday night.
ABOUT WESTERN OREGON- Last time out: Western Oregon saw a 16-point second quarter lead slip away in a 62-61 loss last Thursday against Alaska. Kaylie Boschma netted a career-high 16 points and a late 3-pointer at the buzzer from Sydney Azorr put her into double figures with 10 points. On Saturday, the Wolves battled against second-ranked Alaska Anchorage in a 77-42 decision for the Seawolves. Emily Howey had eight points and six rebounds to lead WOU.
- Despite not having one player averaging more than 10 points per game, Western Oregon has 10 players averaging more than 3.9 points per game. Leading through 22 games is Jordan Mottershaw at 8.0 points followed by Sydney Azorr at 7.0 points.
- WOU is scoring 52.4 points per game while, in comparison, opponents are scoring 66.6 points per contest.
- All three wins for WOU have come at home – in overtime against Evergreen State on Nov. 22, a close call against Simon Fraser on Dec. 31 and a double-digit win over Concordia on Jan. 12.
- Head coach Holli Howard-Carpenter is in her third year at Western Oregon.
- Western Oregon was picked to finish 10th in the GNAC regular season title by the league's coaches after finishing ninth in the league with a 5-13 conference record in 2014-15.

ABOUT CONCORDIA- The Cavaliers snapped a four-game skid on Saturday night defeating Alaska 72-70 on a putback by Nakiyah LeSure at the buzzer. Prior to the thrilling win, CU was held to its lowest offensive output Thursday in a 59-32 loss to Alaska Anchorage.
- The Nanooks have the 10th best scoring offense in the GNAC at 56.9 points per game and rank seventh in scoring defense allowing 65.3 ppg.
- Sierra Dean leads the Cavaliers in scoring at 12.7 points per game. She is the only CU players averaging double figures as Briannah Smith is second on the team at 7.3 ppg.
- Sean Kelly is in his second year as head coach after spending 15 years as an assistant at the University of Portland.
- The Cavaliers were picked to finish 11th in the GNAC preseason coaches' poll, competing at the Division II level for the first time this year.

ABOUT MONTANA STATE BILLINGS- The Yellowjackets split road games last week. MSUB fell at Seattle Pacific, 52-43, on Thursday but bounced back with a 56-52 victory over Saint Martin's in Lacey.
- MSUB is sixth in GNAC scoring offense (62.6) and third in scoring defense (59.5),
- Alisha Breen averages 17.2 points per game to lead Montana State Billings in scoring. Monica Grumsrud (9.9) and Rylee Kane (7.6) follow while Janiel Olson is the team leader in rebounds (8.5).
- Head coach Kevin Woodin is in his 12th year as the head coach at MSUB. He is the 11th head coach in the history of the MSUB women's basketball program.
- The Yellowjackets were selected to finish in a tie for seventh place in the GNAC Preseason Coaches Vote.
