SEATTLE – The women of Western Oregon broke the school's indoor record for the second consecutive time on day one of the 2017 Husky Classic at Dempsey Indoor.

How it Happened – Women: Two weeks ago, a Western Oregon DMR squad went for a school record time of 12:05.04. On Friday,
Suzanne Van De Grift (1,200m),
Megan Rose (400m),
Olivia Woods (800m) and
Kennedy Rufener (1,600m) shaved 15 seconds off the WOU school record with a mark of 11:50.03. It is the 10
th fastest time in the nation this season.

In the 200m dash,
Grayson Burke ran a personal best time of 26.47.

How it Happened – Men: In the only race run for the Wolves, senior
Aaron Whitaker ran his first 200-meter race and posted a time of 22.91.
