OPENING TIP
• Western Oregon women's basketball will play their final two games in The 109 this season when they play host to Northwest Nazarene on Thursday, Feb. 16 and Central Washington on Saturday, Feb. 18. Both games will tip at 5:15 p.m. as the first games of GNAC doubleheaders with the WOU men.
• Thursday's game against NNU will be a White Out with t-shirts for the first 75 students through the door and a winter Beach party theme. Saturday's game will be Senior Night as part of WOU Family Weekend.
• The week's games will be aired live on KWVT television in Salem.

LAST TIME OUT
Western Oregon ended last week with a pair of tough home losses against Concordia (56-69) and Montana State Billings (60-64) to open their current four-game homestand. Against the Cavs, WOU outscored the visitors 17-11 in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to overcome a 31-14 third quarter for CU. In Thursday's game against MSUB, the Wolves had a 12-point lead in the fourth slip away as the Yellowjackets went to the foul line a combined 35 times in the game.

ABOUT NORTHWEST NAZARENE
The Crusdaders have compiled a 9-13 overall record, but are a three-way tie for the final qualifying spots for the GNAC Championships in two weeks with Alaska and Concordia. Last week, NNU played close with league-leading Alaska Anchorage before falling 78-70. The club bounced back with a big 93-60 victory over Alaska to pull even with the Nanooks on Senior Day. Thursday's matchup will be the second of the season with the Wolves after WOU came back from 14-point down to beat the Crusaders 78-75 on January 21 in Nampa. Three players are averaging double figures for NNU, led by guard Ellie Logan at 12.8 points per game. Lexi Tubbs (10.5) and Kate Cryderman (10.3) follow. The Crusaders are scoring 78.8 points a contest while shooting 45.2 percent from the field, 34.1 percent from behind the 3-point arc and 74.7 percent at the foul line. NNU grabs 37.8 rebounds a game.

ABOUT CENTRAL WASHINGTON
The Wildcats are 10-14 on the season with a 5-11 mark in GNAC play. CWU split home games last week after defeating Alaska 69-66 and falling to second-ranked Alaska Anchorage 69-48. In the first meeting with WOU on January 19 in Ellensburg, the Wildcats shared the ball well and shot 55 percent in a 77-63 win. Taylor Baird leads two CWU players in double figures scoring 13.3 points per game while ripping down 8.6 rebounds, tied for the best in the GNAC with Kaillee Skjold of Alaska. CWU is shooting 41.1 percent overall and 67.9 percent from the foul line. They have a 4.6 advantage on the boards pulling down 37.4 a game.
