SEATTLE—With its best defensive performance of the season, Seattle Pacific held Western Oregon to a .034 hitting percentage for a 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-20) win on Thursday night inside the Brougham Pavilion.
Seattle Pacific (4-6, 2-1 GNAC) never trailed by more than two points in any of the three sets and used strong play in the middle portions of each division for its second sweep of the season.
Western Oregon will continue its road trip north with a Saturday match at Saint Martin's University. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m. from Lacey, Washington.
Sianni DeCarli led all WOU players with six kills while
Jenna Compton and
Sophie Hall added four kills each.
Leila Holt and
Sierra Stultz tied for the team lead with eight digs while Holt and
Maddie Mehciz both recorded 10 assists.
SPU's Gabby Oddo led all players with 12 kills.
