MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Western Oregon men's basketball team opened their 2019-20 campaign with an exhibition matchup against the Lewis & Clark Pioneers on Saturday, topping their Division III foe 98-70 at NPE Gym.
The Wolves led the entirety of Saturday's contest, out-scoring the Pioneers by 11 in the first half and 17 in the second.
Western Oregon shot an impressive 56.9 percent from the field in the game, going 37-for-65 from the field
Next up, the Wolves play another exhibition game Friday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. PST against the Warner Pacific Knights. Their regular-season opener is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. in NPE Gym against the Hawaii-Hilo Vulcans.
