MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Western Oregon Wolves pulled away late for a 77-62 victory over Central Washington Saturday at NPE Gym on senior night.
For the Wolves it was their seventh straight win over the Wildcats in the series and the 10th win in their last 11 meetings.
Western Oregon (19-8, 12-6 GNAC) stretched their lead out to 12 points in the first half before Central Washington (11-15, 5-13 GNAC) made a push in the closing minutes to make it a 37-33 lead for the Wolves at the break.

CWU opened up the second half making another push and eventually taking the lead shortly in the game. Zellie Hudson's layup at the 14:20 mark of the second half gave Central their first lead. It would not last long, however. They would only hold an advantage for 4:33 of the contest.
Trailing by two with 12 minutes left in the game, the Wolves went on a 17-3 run over the next six minutes to stretch their lead out and put the win away. They led by as many as 20 in the game, out-scoring the Wildcats 30-13 over the final 12 minutes.
The Wolves got offense out of 10 different players Saturday night, led by the 15 points of
