Adams retired the Wolves in order in three separate innings.

Chandler Bishop took the hard-luck loss after allowing just three hits and the one unearned score.

Arceneaux and Whitaker combined to go 4-for-5 at the plate to account for all four of WOU's hits.

Game 2: Western Oregon 7, Northwest Nazarene 0

Mayer allowed just a single baserunner through the first four innings as a one-out double came up empty for the Nighthawks in the 2nd inning.

The Wolves backed up the performance with a seven-run eruption in the bottom half of the 4th. Following RBI swings by Baylie Kahele and Ayanna Acreneaux, Ryanne Whitaker blasted a 3-run triple to left to make it a 5-0 contest. Three batters later, Jenna Kelly extended the advantage to 7-0 with a 2-run single to center.
