MONMOUTH, Ore. -- The doubleheader scheduled for April 8 between the Western Oregon and Northwest Nazarene baseball teams has been canceled due to inclement weather. 

The Wolves and Nighthawks were able to complete just one game of their four-game series before rain halted play in the bottom of the fourth in game two. Western Oregon took the only official game 13-1 to improve their record to 16-8 overall and 13-8 in conference play. 

Next up for WOU is a trip to Billings for a four-game series against MSUB April 12-13. First pitch on Friday in game one of their doubleheader at Dehler Park is set for 1 p.m.
