Anderson Named GNAC Player Of The Week

PORTLAND, Ore. – Curtis Anderson put together a solid return game against Central Washington and was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.

Anderson returned five kickoffs for 96 yards, including a long of 23 yards. He also added five tackles, two solo and a quarterback hurry against the Wildcats.

For the season, Anderson has returned 16 kickoffs for 296 yards, averaging 18.5 per return and has a long of 38 yards this year. On defense, Anderson has 25 tackles (10 solo), along with 1.5 tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries in the six games this season.

WOU is 2-4 overall on the season and 1-1 in GNAC play. The Wolves will have a bye this week and will return to action next Saturday, Oct. 23 at Central Washington with kickoff set for 6 p.m. in Ellensburg.
